Erdene works with stakeholders to minimize and offset the environmental impacts of its minerals projects.

| Mongolia’s Gobi Desert | Plant life on reclaimed exploration site |
Erdene seeks to manage the environmental impacts of its business operations through preventative and corrective measures, involving accurate baseline and impact assessments that evolve throughout a given minerals project.
Where Erdene’s operations require land disturbance (such as trenching, core drilling, mine construction, ore excavation or mineral processing) reclamation is carried out in order to restore the disturbed area to a suitable condition appropriate for use after operations finish. Reclamation takes place on an ongoing basis over the course of each project.
