Erdene is committed to the highest standards of environmental stewardship. Mongolia has a well-preserved and unique ecology and Erdene’s objective is to minimize its environmental footprint in that region.
While we do not currently have mining operations in Mongolia, the Company files an environmental protection and reclamation plan with the Governor of each district in which it operates. We work to ensure those plans exceed requirements.
In North America, we work with our partners to ensure best practices are met and exceeded for all environmental concerns regarding its development projects and that the communities in which these projects are located benefit from the sustainable economic development that these projects generate.
